About

Embrace the hard. Emerge with purpose.

Ursula Palmer is a speaker, facilitator, and founder of Soulalma. Her work is shaped by lived experience, public service, and years supporting military and survivor communities.

As a Gold Star spouse, immigrant, mother, and leader in public service, Ursula understands what it means to keep moving while carrying more than others can see. Soulalma grew from that lived experience and from her belief that reflection and spirituality can help people pause, listen within, and find their way forward.

Who we are

Soulalma is a reflective practice for individuals, teams, and events. We use quiet reflection, precise questions, and simple practices to create space to pause, listen within, and move with purpose.

Spiritual by default, belief-neutral on request, and adaptable to your tradition.

Who we serve

Soulalma is for people and groups carrying responsibility, transition, grief, leadership, or the unseen weight of continuing to serve others.

We work with leaders, teams, organizations, military-connected communities, and individuals seeking a grounded space to reflect and reconnect with what matters.

Mission

To create reflective spaces for people carrying grief, responsibility, loneliness, or exhaustion, so they can breathe, remember what matters, and keep moving through life with a little more light.

Core values

  • Love in action: charity, kindness, and forgiveness in daily choices.

  • Presence: walking alongside with attentive listening, steadiness, and respect.

  • Gratitude: small, daily practices that reset perspective and lift the spirit.

  • Openness and humility: rooted in timeless principles, whether you practice a faith or not. Curiosity over certainty.

  • Integrity and boundaries: reflective guidance, not therapy or clinical care. Clear limits, confidentiality, and consent.

  • Growth and discernment: honest self-review and choices aligned with conscience, adjusted as new insights emerge.

  • Service and responsibility: use your freedom wisely, own the impact of your actions, help where you can.

  • Reasoned clarity: let understanding and evidence guide decisions, avoid dogma and jargon.
